When Robert Cannon, the rich and powerful
PResident of Boston-based Thornhill Software,
learns about the fatal boating accident of his
younger brother Kevin, he returns to their boyhood
home on Nova Scotia's South Shore to retrieve the
body. Robert is emotionally unprepared for what he
finds in the seaside community steeped in a story
of pirates and buried treasure. The young and
beautiful Evie Shaw, owner of the marina from
which Kevin rented a boat the day he died, is
convinced that Kevin's death was not an accident.
Robert quickly becomes obsessed with the truth
about his brother's death, and with the attractive
widow, Evie.
